I just remembered how much I HATE IT when people stop on a right turn merge. Luckily since I moved I don't see that anymore.

The idea is that even though there are cars coming, you're given that merging lane SO THAT they get a chance to let you merge. I don't get how hard that is to understand.
I've had people stop AT THE END OF THE FUCKING MERGE LANE because they were too scared to ACTUALLY MERGE!!

I can't tell what's worse, the people who stop thinking NO ONE WILL EVER LET THEM IN, or the people who ride out the ending lanes not signalling or checking their mirrors thinking FUCK THEM THEY HAVE TO LET ME IN.

There are worse transgressions in the driving world. The sign says "yield", not "do not stop". I will often wait in such situations because I drive an underpowered vehicle which would struggle to match the speed of traffic in the distance allotted by the merge lane.

There're two right turn merge intersections near me and if I get stuck behind some oblivious idiot at one, I just lay on the horn. Literally, I just hold the horn down until they go. Sometimes it still takes 10 or 15 seconds.

There's another guy dash-camming the same roads and more that I found on YT... went through all 50+ of his videos expecting to see one of my cars. Didn't. Thank goodness.
